Red woman defies Abhisit govt

Among the firearms and other equipment claimed to have been lost during the clash were nine M16 rifles, 25 Tavor rifles, six anti-aircraft guns, 116 shields, 105 batons and 80 body armour suits.

The army also lost control of six personnel carriers and three high-mobility multi-purpose vehicles when troops abandoned them in the face of angry red shirts.

Ammunition also went missing, including 580 rubber bullet rounds, 600 anti-aircraft rounds and 8,182 M16 rifle rounds.

Note:  Why such a shameful information publicized by the Thai govt after the clash?

  • Thai govt under Abhishit  is absolutely so irresponsible as Cambodian govt under Hun Xen for its violence.
  • Thai govt tries to seek political support / reason/ justification to crackdown on the reds for the next move.
  • It would be a win-win strategy for Thai govt if reds did hand out the weapons seized.

However, we may wonder  why did these soldiers need to bring anti-aircraft, so much live amour, and other weapons to the demonstration sites since they claimed that soldiers would not use live round except for rubber bullets? Or they need that much anti-air craft and live round to shoot into the sky? And we should also ask thai govt why there are more dead and injured civilians than the soldiers if soldiers didn’t shoot at the reds?

I raise this in order to remind all democratic Cambodians  that pls do not trust the Thai politicians, esp. those who (the elites) aligns themselves with the royal institution, since they are not even HONEST to their own people and they always look down on the poor and of course, now our country is poorer than that of Thailand which can be viewed/treated as those poor in Thailand by them.

48 YEARS AFTER THE ICJ VERDICT, A KHMER-THAI LOVE-HATE RELATIONSHIP

๔๘ ปีหลังจากคดีศาลโลก, ความสัมพันธ์รัก-เกลียดระหว่าง เขมร-ไทย

Forty-eight years after the International Court of Justice rendered its decision regarding Preah Vihear Temple on June 15, 1962, Thailand continues to blindly disobey the world court’s decision. The dispute was started when Field Marshal Sarit of Thailand ordered troops to occupy Preah Vihear temple and the adjacent areas some 50 years after the temple became under Cambodia’s sovereignty under Franco-Siamese treaty of 1904-07. Preah Vihear is considered sacred to the Khmers, second only to Angkor Wat because of its unsual breathtaking site on top of cliff. The ongoing conflict is a political pawn used by the Abhisit government to stir Thai nationalism in order to secure his undemocratic PM seat. The same repeating situation has now passed on to other Khmer temples of Prasat Ta Moan and Ta Krabey, with Thai troops illegally occupying Khmer Temples. If necessary, Cambodia may have to go back to the world court once again over these temples. Instead of focussing on its internal problems and fostering good neighbourly friendship, the Thai government choses a dangerous hostile path with its neighbours. It fought a brief border dispute war with Laos back in 1987-88 and now with Cambodia. How can such a country expects others to respect and obey it’s own law and be in good terms when Thailand itself does not even respect international law and continues to be arrogant and uncivilized toward its neighbours. It will be difficult to improve the ties if Cambodia does not end its relationship with Thaksin,” Mr Kasit said. “No matter what Cambodia said, it cannot change the fact that Cambodia has shown its disrespect for the justice system of Thailand and has interfered in Thailand’s internal affairs.” Read more of this post

Abhisit urged to oppose to Preah Vihear administration plan

It has been quiet for a while concerning  with the conflict between Siam and Cambodia over the Siamese invasion on Preah Vihear Khmer temple. Now it starts again when Cambodia is cheduled to submitt its administrative and conservative plan to UNESCO.”  The Nation has it below:

Since Cambodia was to propose the administration and conservation plan for Preah Vihear on February 1, PM Abhisit Vejjajiva should express Thailand’s stance that Thailand has never agreed and joined in the plan making, an academic said Monday.

Well, we Khmer know that the theift never gives up stealing. So it doesn’t need you to reassure it to us. However, you Siamese people should also know that Cambodia has never asked you to join the plan or care whether you Siam agree or not with it, because Preah Vihear khmer temple has nothing to do with you Siam. Hun Sen embracing Nguyen Tan Dung (daylife)

It seems to be an annual warning or propaganda of the traitorous Hun Sen

who always imorally and threateningly   forces our people to accept the false meaning of 7 January as the Liberation Day or the Seond Birth of Life for the Cambodians.

We usualy hear that  Hun Sen always comes out and strongly warns those who interpret the meaning of the 7 January against the above mntion. Below are some of his warnings: Read more of this post
